Built by women for women, the Women’s Wellness Center at Medical City specializes in breast and gynecological cancer diagnosis and treatments. Our all-female staff averages 15 years of tenure, and each member has subspecialty training in mammography. We don’t just look at an occasional mammogram between MRI or CT scans. We review mammograms day in and day out. And unlike those at other facilities, our imaging technologists are located on the same campus as the physicians and surgeons making final recommendations on care. By working together, we help ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment. In many instances, we are able to provide our patients with detailed examinations and exact diagnosis on the same day they are referred to our offices.

Every patient at the Women’s Wellness Center benefits from some of the most advanced equipment available to help detect lumps and masses. Stereotactic- and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies use leading-edge, minimally invasive technology to assure the most accurate diagnosis available anywhere. Counselors at Medical City are available to help women deal with the psychological effects, as well as the resulting physical effects of breast and gynecological cancer. We understand that staying positive, maintaining a strong identity and feeling feminine are important to staying healthy.

We also have gynecologic oncologists on staff to provide the most advanced diagnosis and treatments for gynecologic cancers. The specialists at Medical City Women’s offer compassionate care for everything from a woman’s first period to menopause and beyond.
